Setup Guide

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to properly setup your OBSBOT Tail Air prompter kit.

Remove the large L-Bracket that came with your Elgato Prompter.

Remove the x2 Elgato knurled thumbscrews holding the lens mount plate, which will then make the Elgato lens mount plate loosey goosey and ready to remove.

Here is what your prompter should look like.

Take the Main L-Bracket and secure it to the Elgato Prompter using the included Low Profile Thumboney Thumbscrew.

Take the other Low Profile Thumboney Thumbscrew and insert it through the bottom of the L bracket.

Place your OBSBOT Tail Air camera on the Main L Bracket, and using the Low Profile Thumboney Screw, secure the camera to the bracket.

Adjust the height of the Main L-Bracket so they lens of the OBSBOT Tail Air is centered.

Grab the Elgato Faceplate that has the light-blocking dropcloth attached to it. This is the best for this type of camera, since this camera is not officially supported with Elgato Prompter.

Use the two silver knurled thumbscrews that came with your Elgato Prompter to secure the faceplate to the Elgato Prompter. (Note: in my screenshot below, different screws are shown that are not the same.)

Grab any cables that you need to plug into the tail air, and secure them into the cable management clip that is built into the Main L-Bracket.

You did it! Good work.
