Mount your portable monitor to any 1/4" mounting system, like the very common friction arm that uses a 1/4"-20 thread for mounting photo or video equipment. This version is meant for portable monitors that have x2 VESA screw holes. (I also make a 4 screw version)
There are a lot of portable monitors out there, and they all are slightly different sizes and shapes with different locations of VESA holes. If you have a UPERFECT monitor where the screw holes are close to the edge and don't want the adapter hanging off the edge, I recommend the skinny or offset version. If you have 2 VESA screw holes that have plenty of space around them and you want the most surface area covered as possible, go for the chunky version.
