These adapters are designed to be used with portable monitors weighting in around 5-8lbs and are not designed for full size, desktop monitors.
To reduce the use of plastic shipping materials, parts are wrapped in a paper honeycomb packing paper which may leave a dusty residue on the part itself. Simply wipe the part to remove any dust or residue as this is not permanent. Save the planet!
